TransGlobal Power Limited. is a closely held Public Limited company incorporated in Bangalore, India in the year 1990, Headquartered in Bangalore, Karnataka with regional/project offices in several Indian states.

Clients include power utilities, and other Public and Private power users and generators.

We provide Comprehensive range of services from planning, design, engineering, and construction to commissioning in power transmission and distribution area, with significant breadth and depth of experienced professional and technical staff for execution of projects & programs.

The Management consists of experienced engineers with in-depth technical and management knowledge.

TransGlobal deploys an integrated H&S management system to fulfill our mission and the expectations of our clients, staff, and communities based on the following principles:

  • Provide value to clients by tailoring H&S processes to customer needs and requiring all TransGlobal employees and subcontractors to deliver projects in compliance with H&S requirements and company standards to achieve health and safety excellence.

Quality

TransGlobal has established a Quality policy and has delegated the responsibility of the Chief Operating Officer to develop and implement a Quality Management Plan in compliance with the following requirements:

  • ISO-9001–2000 Quality Management System Requirements
  • Customer Requirements, including applicable regulatory requirements, as specified in the contract and/or task documents

TransGlobal management, including the TransGlobal directors, ensures that the quality policy:

  • Is communicated and understood within the organization.
  • Provides a framework and resources for establishing and reviewing project-specific quality objectives.
  • Is reviewed for continuing suitability.
  • Determines that the customer requirements are met so that customer satisfaction is enhanced.

Each region, field, or project team has the responsibility either to implement this Quality Management Plan for the project are to develop a project specific Quality System Plan using the guidelines established in this Quality Management Plan for designated projects that require TransGlobal to design, procure, subcontract, construct, or manage a construction/program for our customers.

TransGlobal goals for 2013-2017 establish the corporate objectives. The directors and project management will develop appropriate objectives to meet the corporate objectives and measure their performance in achieving these objectives as a part of our continual improvement process.

Leadership
The Management Team

The management team consists of four directors who are supported by regional General Managers. The Directors are not only responsible for company growth and development, but also for execution of day to day operations of the Company. The directors that are actively managing the company are:

Managing Director - Mr. Suresh Dasappa, Bachelor of Electrical Engineering with over 32 years of experience in Power Transmission & Distribution, Generation and Project Management, with a wide recognition in the industry.

Executive Director - Mr. Srini Dasappa, Master of Engineering with graduate studies in business administration, and has over 27 years of project and business management experience in large infrastructure projects, including world-wide work experience with several large MNCs.

Technical Director – Mr. T.K. Praveen, Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering with around 20 years of experience in handling a total turnkey projects in the power transmission and distribution sector. Mr. Praveen is well recognized in the industry and has been instrumental in the construction and commissioning of several signature transmission lines.

Director – Mr. Sanju Suresh, Bachelor of Engineering in Information Science. Mr. Sanju has interned with the company in various roles for over the last five years to learn all aspects of the company business prior to his induction as a director. He is also well versed in IT infrastructure and software to enable TransGlobal’s expansion initiative into engineering services and O&M data management services for the power sector.

The Directors are assisted by a team of more than 100 highly skilled personnel consisting of qualified Engineers, Technical Advisors and Professionals who look after various aspects of the business.
